Nashville Restaurant Guide (Sit-Down & Fast Eats Guests Actually Love)
If you’re staying with us, you’re already doing Nashville right — now let’s make sure you eat right too. Here’s where we actually send our own friends when they ask where to go, from linger-long dinners to fast hits between shows.
SIT-DOWN — TAKE YOUR TIME & DO THIS PROPERLY
Pastis — Wedgewood-Houston A polished French brasserie with steak frites, mussels and martinis done the way you secretly hoped they’d be. Good for date nights and “let’s feel like adults again.”
Zuzu — East Nashville Asian-leaning small plates with a Tokyo-club-after-midnight mood. Loud enough to feel alive, not loud enough to regret it.
Audrey — East Nashville (Sean Brock) Slow, thoughtful, Appalachian-meets-fine-dining. This is a “tell people you went” experience — calm room, brilliant plates, sincerely good service.
Red-Headed Stranger — East Nashville Daytime Tex-Mex with real character: tortillas, hatch chile, burgers, frozen drinks, patios — zero pretense.
FAST EATS — IF YOU ONLY HAVE 20–30 MINUTES
Hattie B’s Yes the line is real. Yes it’s worth it. You came to Nashville — you should have hot chicken at least once.
Prince’s Hot Chicken The origin. If you want the “real one,” not the Instagram version, go here.
Mas Tacos Por Favor Hole-in-the-wall East Nashville classic. The tortilla soup and fried avocado taco are local-level mandatory.
Five Points Pizza (Slice Window) Perfect when you need something fast before a show. Crisp, predictable, never-wrong.
Dino’s Dive bar with arguably the best classic burger in the city. Order one and eat it hot.
Bar Taco (12 South) Touristy? A little. Useful? Extremely. Fast seating, consistent plates, easy for groups.
Shake Shack (The Gulch) Not local, but you’ll be in this area and the line moves fast — reliably good when you just need food between plans.
The Grilled Cheeserie Started as a food truck, now a staple. Comfort, simple, fast-enough and always a crowd-pleaser.
